A failure fails woefully if they have a bad counselor. The last two matches have shown that Lungberg couldn't have been a better counsel.
Most clubs after relieving a fumbling coach will at least have a spiked up players playing with passion to prove the decision right. Even Chelsea at a point won Champions League after a coach departure.
Lungberg's fault wasn't in fielding Willock in his games. Nor, seating out Pepe while Ozil was condemned to flank, Aubameyang to another flank and lukewarm Laca who couldn't impact the game.
Verily, the issue is the absence of passion. Lungberg like his predecessor couldnt stoke up passion in the boys. Lazy senior players who aint ready to take responsibility to a notch high and a coach who couldnt make anyone give more.
Even with Messi and Ronaldo, a talent manager would know that passion is key to doing extraordinarily well. The dearth of that is what Arsenal faces. That squad should have beaten Brighton Blue Black but Brighton brightened up under a duller team.
Webster got the first GOAL for Brighton. Lacazette equalised and fans thought Arsenal would soon "Pepe" Brighton. But Maupay murdered their boast and their ego fury targeted Lungberg.
Emery gone misery dey!
