A father should be a hero: gallant, and valiant. That's relatively the social expectation of a father figure. For such structure, fatherhood extends beyond sperming an ovum. That's our expectations. Failure on these expectations sees the society questioning the father of his moral claim on the child. For a mother, there is the unmatchable and unquestionable nine-month sacrifice that any amount of post-birth mishap or misnomer could not erase.
